While temperatures and fuel prices continue to rise this summer, the American Red Cross reports that the blood inventory levels are so low it is unable to sufficiently meet the demand of local hospitals.  While there is a constant need for all blood types, donors with type O positive, O negative, A positive and A negative are asked to donate right away. On Tuesday, July 29, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, YOU have a chance to make a difference in this community.  We will have our quarterly blood drive in the Christian Life Center. Pastor Josh   Summer Blast through summer KIDMO style! Woodlawn is now an Angel Food host site. This means that our members and the community have the opportunity to order foods from Angel Food Ministries at a discount or bulk rate. Anyone may take advantage of this ministry. There are no qualifications or applications. If you like food and like to save money, this is for you. You may order in the church office, after the services on designated Sundays, or on the distribution day for the next month. Menus are available online, in the church office, or in the foyer of the church.   Angel Food distribution will be Saturday, July 26, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Spirit Shack.  You may want to sign up for August when you pick up yours   To place an order for Angel Food Ministries, you may come by the church office, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or visit our table in the courtyard on Sundays.   If you have questions or would like to volunteer, contact Christy Buff (428-8804) or go to angelfoodministries.com.
